There is so much variability in the AR platform that the only way to answer this question is to say that every gun is different. There is such a thing as a trigger that is too light and this weight will change from gun to gun. There are several factors including bolt carrier height, bolt carrier mass and bolt carrier speed as well as the overall mass of the gun. TriggerTech strongly recommends that you get some trigger time on your TriggerTech before adjusting the break weight. As you reduce the amount of spring tension on the sear, you may reach a point that the gun will not cock reliably when live firing (though it may still cock during dry firing).
