TriggerTech AR triggers are not specifically designed or optimized for use with military surplus ammunition or hardened primers.

Military-grade primers are often harder than standard commercial primers and typically require greater strike energy to ensure reliable ignition. Our AR triggers are engineered to balance reliability with improved trigger feel, which includes optimized hammer mass and spring characteristics that may not consistently deliver the higher impact energy needed for harder primers.

For best performance and reliability, we recommend using factory or match-grade ammunition.
