We do not suggest cleaning our Remington 700 triggers. An advantage of our Zero Creep Technology is that if any dirt and contaminants get into the engagement areas, the roller inside the housing will expel any debris out through the channeling. If your trigger gets exceptionally dirty, dry fire the trigger 5-10 times. This should expunge any debris. If further cleaning is needed, you may use a light solvent (lighter fluid or anything that does not leave a residue) and compressed air to flush out the internals of the trigger. Do not open the trigger housing. This will void the warranty and once reassembled the trigger may not function correctly and or safely. TriggerTech triggers are constructed very different from traditional sliding friction-based triggers. If you are unsure, please contact us.
