Removing the Safety from a Remington Model 700/Model 7 Trigger

You can with a T10 screwdriver, and it will not affect any other function of the trigger or void the warranty. TriggerTech always recommends that you operate your firearm with a safety. Some Rem 700 clones have a bolt safety and cannot accommodate a trigger safety. If your firearm has a bolt safety, you can remove the trigger safety from Rem Triggers without bolt releases. To do this move the safety to the Fire position and remove the safety by loosening the single T10 screw securing the safety to the trigger. If your firearm requires a bolt release, you cannot remove the safety.
