Bolt Release Stuck in Up Position

Your bolt release can get stuck in the up position for a several reasons:

1. The most common reason is that the bolt release does not line up with the bolt catch properly, ensure that the release seats perfectly in the catch groove. Adjust the bolt release tab to get the perfect position for your action. Refer to instructions in step 5.
2. The bolt catch spring is missing.
3. Trigger sits too tight against your firearm walls.
4. Issue with the trigger’s bolt catch.
