Trigger Pin Installation: Orientation and Best Practices

Your trigger pins are tapered and should be removed and reinstalled in the same way. On a right-handed rifle with it upside down and the barrel pointing away from you, the front pin needs to be tapped in from right to left, and the rear pin from left to right. Opposite for a left-handed rifle.
